I spent 15 years in corporate sales, closing millions in industrial fixings.
Long sales cycles. Big deals. Serious buyers.
Then I was made redundant. So I did what I’ve always done. I built something.
I started an offline consultancy and networked every day. Within a short time, I signed 10-12 clients. There was no blueprint, no funnels, no complicated systems.
Just conversations and work ethic, but I made the same mistake many people make when starting out.
I said "YES" to the wrong clients.... [the low value, high demand, Energy draining type]
Eventually, I had to fire some of them. That experience forced me to rethink how I was building my business.
